Samsung is back again with its 2017 series of Galaxy range of smartphones after the success of 2016 series. The range of 2017 smartphones includes the A-Series phones Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7. With some improvements in hardware and software specifications, Galaxy 2017 series is ready to make strong impressions in the market. Samsung launched the new A series smartphones across the globe.  But for now let's have a quick look at the 2017 series of Galaxy A series smartphones.

Galaxy A7 (2017) won’t be sold on most European markets but Galaxy A3 (2017) and Galaxy A5 (2017) are available in Samsung’s online store. Galaxy A7(2017) is the bigger brother in the A-series family and as such has bigger display - 5.7”, better resolution - FullHD and mightier chipset - Exynos 7880, Octa-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A53, Memory, Mali-T830MP3GPU is also better with 3GB RAM and the internal storage is 32 GB. All these extra specs come for slightly more quid - it costs $560.

Galaxy A5 (2017) is the second biggest brother in the A-series family and as such has bigger display - 5.2”, better resolution - FullHD and mightier chipset - Exynos 7880. Memory is also better with 3GB RAM and the internal storage is 32 GB. All these extra specs come for slightly more quid - it costs £369.

Galaxy A3 (2017) is the smaller device - 4.7” display with HD resolution and Exynos 7870 processor. There is 2 GB RAM and 16GB internal storage but there is a microSD slot. Sadly, the device is with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. The price is £279 with free delivery if you order it from the online store and comes in four colors - Black Sky, Gold Sand, Blue Mist and Peach Cloud.

The color options are the same four as in the A3 (2017). Both devices are waterproof with slick design and have many of the features the flagship Galaxy S7/S7 Edge has like the Always-On Display. Sadly, both devices are with Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 but they are too good to be snubbed because of the OS.

We can hope that Samsung is ready for the new battle with the new 2017 series of  Galaxy A series smartphones in the present context where the cheaper Chinese brands are being successful to place their mark in the smartphone maret.
