Among 14 players, Shubam Gill of Kolkata Knight Riders has won the the Emerging Player Award in IPL 2019. Emerging Player Award is chosen by a combination of a public vote on www.iplt20.com and the choice of the television commentators.
On the public vote, Sandeep Lamichhane was top on the list but due to few matches and commentators choice Shubman Gill became the Emerging Player in this IPL 2019.
Shubham Gill has was awarded 10 lakhs rupees in the final ceremony for Emerging Player Award.
