Good news to the Nepalese people who want to work in Japan because the Japanese government has approved the hiring of Nepalese people to work in Japan. From South Asian Countries, Nepal is only the country that Japan has approved to work in Japan. After this approval, Japanese firms are allowed to hire blue-collar workers from these 8 nations including Nepal from April.
Besides Nepal, Japan will take workers from Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, China, Mongolia, Myanmar, and Thailand. This is a great opportunity to the Nepalese people to work in Japan, which has also the third-largest economy of the world.
According to the Nepali national newspaper, The Himalayan Times:
Japanese Government has decided to hire 345,000 foreign workers in the first five years. Those workers will be permitted to work on 14 industrial sectors, including nursing care, janitorial work, manufacturing, the hotel industry, agriculture, and fishing, as well as food processing and food services.
They will also provide freedom to change jobs to the workers and shift to another part of the country within the same professional area and using the same expertise for which they were initially accepted.
"Japanese delegation will come to Nepal at the beginning of January for concrete talks that will include issues related to salary and benefits, among others. After that, both the governments will finalize the mechanism for supply of Nepali workers to Japan. The government plans to send Nepali workers to Japan in a model similar to the Korean Employment Permit System."
